About the Author
Hector Zavala is a licensed clinical professional counselor with over 12 years of clinical experience treating children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families from a feminist lens. After completing his BA in psychology at Elmhurst College, Hector began working in community mental health, and later received his MA in Community Counseling from Argosy University and PsyD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Adler University.
